ABOUT ME!

A writer with a dream; RSCF grew up in the middle of nowhere in Muhlenberg County, KY. They hopped from dream to dream, hoping to make a difference in anyone's life. Sadly, when they were 14, their father had passed to Pancreatic Cancer. Their father encouraged them to write, starting a cycle of new beginnings and adventures.

RSCF had the idea to publish their book in 2020. Working hard on a decades old project, Shadows of the Dark, they made the self-publishing dream. In 2023, they published their first book on Amazon. The dedication continued in 2024 when Broken Pieces came out, and now their third book is done and being released in 2026!

Some basic things about RSCF: They have 2 cats and 1 dog and occasionally stream video games on Twitch under TrashBinDeluxe! They love to explore their surroundings, especially alongside her husband and best friend. RSCF also likes to read other books such as A Tempest of Tea and Can't Spell Treason Without Tea. Sometimes they dabble in crochet and drawing, but mainly play video games.

In the world we live in, dreams like theirs were hard to achieve. But with determination, the author dream became reality. They hope to change the world with story-telling and understanding.

Honorable Mention

It's Time

Our main character in this short story was a cat, who had grown old and about to pass away. This cat told the judges about how his owner saved him from a river flood in a bigger city, who then washed up on the owner's doorstep. The cat ended up passing, but sent down an angel for his owner, reminding us that animals never forget our kindness.
